Dive In Sanur And Nusa Dua

THE dive sites close to Sanur and Nusa Dua do not have very good quality coral, but they contain a reasonable variety of attractive fish. They provide easy diving although not as prolifically filled with marine life as, the other dive locations in Bali, these two areas provide an excellent opportunity to refresh rusty skills and to get in a couple of quick dives.

Diving to enter the resplendent underwater world of Bali without getting wet is now possible with submarine safaris. A tour to about 60 feet below the sea south of Nusa Dua now opens the charms of the underwater world to landlubbers. A small submarine carrying about 25 guests is the featured gateway. A submarine safari brings with it the opportunity of viewing and photographing underwater reef and corals.

Convenient to access, dives at 2-12 meters depth are rewarded by beautiful underwater panoramas. Gigantic table and trophy shaped coral and sponge grow for miles on barrier reef but limited variety. Coral better at Nusa Dua. Colorful tropical fish and good for divers with limited time and beginner divers. If you don't have much time, Nusa Dua is an option for you. The fact is that this site is nice, but has not so much to offer.

In Sanur underwater world lies 300 m offshore from Sanur, take a short ride with a boat. Good variety of fish, soft and hard corals. Sea snake, crocodilefish and sharks are occasionally seen. Ideal for beginner and experienced divers. In Nusa Dua, about 10 minutes from Tanjung Benoa. Reef with soft and hard corals, good variety of small reef fish, shark and crocodilefish and ideal for beginner and experienced divers.
