Batur Trail
A bike tour begins with a drive up to the Kintamani area at 1,700 meters above sea level. After brunch you ride back down a less-trafficked road, an easy-going two and a half hour trip with one hill that you can ride up on your bike. The downhill trail from Mount Batur will lead you through dense rainforests, groves of giant bamboo, past picture-postcard terraces and sleepy mountain villages along little-used roads and tracks.

Batukaru Trail

Visiting these ancient villages and farming centers provides a unique insight into the ways of old Bali, where knowledge is passed from generation to generation and still in use today.
