CYCLING adventure in one of Bali's only remaining areas of wilderness, high up in the pristine rainforests. Starting high in the mountains, you can see Balinese culture and customs while you pass through the timeless countryside.

Batur Trail
A bike tour begins with a drive up to the Kintamani area at 1,700 meters above sea level. After brunch you ride back down a less-trafficked road, an easy-going two and a half hour trip with one hill that you can ride up on your bike. The downhill trail from Mount Batur will lead you through dense rainforests, groves of giant bamboo, past picture-postcard terraces and sleepy mountain villages along little-used roads and tracks.

Frequent stops along the way will give you the chance to visit temples, plantations and villages that offer an insight into a Bali.
